How to use the set
Place your matcha in the chawan using the chashaku. Add a little warm water, then whisk with the chasen until smooth. Add more water for a traditional drink or milk for a latte. Our matcha preparation guide explains the method in greater detail.
Care and maintenance
Rinse the ceramic pieces gently after use. Rinse the bamboo whisk in lukewarm water without detergent, shake off the excess water and leave it to dry on the holder. Wipe the chashaku with a dry cloth rather than soaking it. Let all accessories dry before storage.
